About the Committee

The Internal Investigations, Regulatory, and Enforcement Litigation Committee (IIREL) comprises hundreds of talented and committed- in-house counsel and private firm lawyers whose practices focus on internal and government investigations and the resulting enforcement actions and litigation. Home to many former prosecutors and United States attorneys, IIREL works to provide member information related to:

  • Conducting internal investigations related to compliance, fraud, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.
  • Reacting and responding to grand jury and investigative subpoenas and demands.
  • Representing clients with testimony before and negotiating with regulators and prosecutors.
  • Mounting an effective defense in litigation or enforcement actions.

We continue growing in quantity and quality through our membership and marketing efforts. Our success is realized through our many talented members' invaluable support and unyielding efforts.
