The Nonlawyer Ownership of Law Firms Task Force Examines developments related to ownership of law firms by nonlawyers (also known as "alternative business structures" or "ABS") and tracks how jurisdictions (U.S. and Canadian) have revised lawyer regulation to allow for a variety of nontraditional business structures for lawyers and paraprofessionals who provide "legal services."
