Sara Brochstein

Sara Brochstein is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary's Atlanta office. She practices in the firm's government law national practice section. She also practices in the firm's general and professional liability sections. As part of the government law section, Ms. Brochstein has a broad litigation practice with a focus on defending cities, counties, law enforcement officers, and other governmental individuals in civil rights and general liability matters in both state and federal trial courts and appellate courts. Ms. Brochstein's practice also includes the defense of attorneys in professional liability matters and the defense of private businesses in general liability matters.

R. Jeffrey Lowe is a partner in Kightlinger & Gray LLP in New Albany, Indiana. He regularly defends municipalities throughout southeastern Indiana and Kentucky. His practice involves issues ranging from constitutional torts to zoning matters, employment issues, as well as state law claims made against his mu-nicipal clients. Mr. Lowe has successfully defended officers in a police chase shooting and has successfully defended a local zoning authority on a Telecommunications Act claim before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He serves on the DRI Board of Directors.

Dana K. Maine is a partner with Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, in its Atlanta office. Her practice focuses on professional liability defense and governmental litigation. Dana heads the firm's LPL and MPL practice groups. She has been named a Super Lawyer for several years and was named Lawyer of the Year for Atlanta Municipal Law by Best Lawyers in America. Dana is a frequent speaker locally and on a national basis on all aspects of government liability including civil rights, zoning, and land use. She has represented clients at all stages of litigation from pre-suit mediation, to trial, and through the appeals process. In addition to other professional organizations, Dana served as program chair and committee chair for DRI's Government Liability Committee and remains active in the committee's leadership advisory board.
