John Cruden

John Cruden served as a senior leader on environment and natural resource matters at the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) for more than two decades. He supervised some of the department's most significant litigation, including the Exxon Valdez oil spill, Love Canal, and Bunker Hill litigation. As the Senate-confirmed, Assistant Attorney General, ENRD, John worked on the most high-profile environment cases, and personally negotiated the multi-billion dollar resolutions of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and the Volkswagen emissions scandal. John has served as the President of the Environmental Law Institute, Chair of the American Bar Association Section on Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources, and as President of the American College of Environmental Lawyers


Robert F. Helminiak
Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates

Robert F. Helminiak is the Vice President of SOCMA's Government Relations team. He leads the association's advocacy efforts on issues impacting the specialty chemical industry. Helminiak previously served as Vice President of Science and Regulatory Affairs for the Plastics Industry Association, where he worked with government agencies to develop and implement programs and foster partnerships with stakeholders and other groups to benefit the plastics industry. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and a law degree from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.

Ann Michelle Morrison, Sc.D., is a Principal Scientist at Exponent, focusing in Ecological and Biological Sciences. Dr. Morrison has over 23 years of experience evaluating the relationship between anthropogenic contamination and health effects to aquatic life and humans. Dr. Morrison specializes in natural resource damage assessment (NRDA), environmental causal analysis, and assessments of water quality conditions.
