DRI’s 2010 Damages Seminar will take a fresh look at how defense lawyers (both in-house and outside counsel) and insurers can help clients get to the bottom line in a “just, speedy, and inexpensive” manner, consistent with Rule 1 of the Federal Rules ofCivil Procedure. The faculty of nationally recognized corporate counsel, consultants, experts and outside counsel will teach you how to make yourself invaluable to your clients. Speakers will share creative thoughts on how to understand and manage client expectations, how to evaluate and strategize a case; how to address intangible values; new rules and junk science; how to listen to and talk to juries about value and money; and how to harmonize empathy, sympathy, ethics and justice in the courtroom and beyond.

On Wednesday March 17, attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a networking session with in-house counsel, insurers and outside counsel from across the country.
