* In order to qualify for the in-house counsel member rate, you must be a member of DRI and the Corporate Counsel Committee.

Save $200 when you register on or before October 21! Registration fee includes; Admission to all CLE programs; Admission to all non-ticketed events; Email with link to Annual Meeting course materials; Access to the DRI App; Continental breakfast each morning; Refreshment breaks; Networking receptions; Opportunity to purchase tickets to the Awards Luncheon, Women's Networking Luncheon, and the President's Gala. To ensure that your name is listed in the Annual Meeting App in advance of the meeting, DRI must receive your registration on or before October 21. Registrations received after October 21 will be processed on-site and charged an additional $200 fee.

In-house counsel are eligible for a reduced registration rate to the DRI Annual Meeting. In-house counsel is defined as a licensed attorney who is employed exclusively by a corporate or other private sector organization, for the purpose of providing legal representation and counsel only to that corporation, its affiliates and subsidiaries.

SILENT AUCTION

DRI Public Service Committee will host its 4th Annual Silent Auction, with proceeds this year benefitting the National Foundation for Judicial Excellence (NFJE). The auction will be held in conjunction with the DRI Annual Meeting, October 22-26, 2014, in San Francisco. A chance to bid on fabulous prizes will be available to you all week in the Exhibit Showcase, with the final night of bidding to take place during the President's Gala Saturday Evening.

If you have an item you would like to donate to the auction, download the silent auction donor form.Sealed bidding will again be offered for the Silent Auction. Sealed bidding allows people who cannot attend the Annual Meeting the opportunity to participate in the auction. Further, Annual Meeting attendees who need to leave early may submit a sealed bid.

To submit a sealed bid, please follow these instructions:

  • Complete the Sealed Bid Contract
  • Enclose the Sealed Bid Contract in an envelope with "Silent Auction - Sealed Bid" clearly written on the envelope.
  • Enclose the above in an envelope address to Tiffany Caldwell, DRI, 55 West Monroe, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60603

All bids will remain sealed until the conclusion of the Silent Auction at the Annual Meeting's President's Gala. Sealed bid winners will be notified after the Annual Meeting. Please note that auction items will be shipped via UPS and the shipping charge will be billed to the winner.

HOTEL INFORMATION

The San Francisco Marriott Marquis is currently sold out. We encourage you to continue to check with the Marriott at 415.896.1600 for availability. The hotel room status is constantly changing and will undoubtedly have cancellations between now and the Annual Meeting. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. In the meantime, for your convenience, we have compiled a list of nearby hotels, all within walking distance of the Marriott Marquis.

TRAVEL DISCOUNTS

DRI offers discounted meeting fares on various major air carriers for DRI seminar attendees. To receive these discounts, please contact Direct Travel Ltd., DRI’s official travel provider at 800.840.0908. If you would like to have access to the DRI online travel booking tool, you must complete a Business Traveler Profile form. To access the secure form, please CLICK HERE.

Within 24 Business Hours, you will receive information on accessing the system.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS

No special discounts are provided for the Diversity for Success or Young Lawyers Seminars, Fidelity and Surety Roundtable, Defending Drug and Medical Device Litigation Young Lawyer Primer, the DRI Annual Meeting, or any non-CLE DRI meeting. For most other seminars, the first and second registrations from the same firm or company are subject to the fees outlined above. The registration fee for additional registrants from the same firm or company is $100 off the member rate, regardless of membership status. The group discount rate for DRI International seminar is $50 off the member rate and $40 off the member rate for Product Liability Conference and Drug and Medical Device seminar. All registrations must be received at the same time to receive the discount.

The registration fee is fully refundable for cancellations received on or before August 25, 2014. Cancellations received between August 26 and September 14 will receive a refund, less a $200 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after September 17. All cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing. Substitutions may be made at any time without charge. All refunds will be processed and mailed within four weeks of the conclusion of the Annual Meeting.
