When and where is the DRI 2025 Annual Meeting?

The DRI 2025 Annual Meeting is happening Thursday, October 15 to Saturday, October 17.

The meeting will be held at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, 540 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60611.

What are the registration rates?

Pricing for the Annual Meeting depends on the date of registration and the member category. Learn more about pricing.

What is the Non-Member Bundle Registration?

If you are not a DRI member and want to save on your registration, you can take advantage of the Non-Member / Trial Membership Bundle. Not only will you register for the meeting, but you get up to nine months of DRI membership with the membership add-on.

To select the membership add-on during the registration process, click "Add to Cart" for the "Individual Membership - Event Bundle" when you reach Step 6 Related Items. Trial membership processing can take up to 30 days from the date of purchase; contact DRI Customer Service with any questions.

Can I bring a guest to the meeting?

Yes. You can add a spouse / adult family (non-attorney) and children when registration for Annual Meeting. All attorney attendees must utilize regular registration. Get pricing info for guest.

Do you offer group rates?

Yes. DRI’s group seminar registration program provides bulk billing and special pricing for groups of four or more attending the Annual Meeting from the same firm or company. Members and non-members receive a 15% discount off the member and non-member rates respective to the time the group registration is initiated (i.e. Early Bird, Regular or On-Site registration periods). There is one free registration with every 10 paid registrations. If you want to register for the group pricing, fill out the form here. Please note that online registration is not available for this offer.

What are DRI’s Counsel Meetings?

DRI’s Counsel Meeting Program offers a turn-key solution allowing companies and insurance carriers to meet with their outside counsel while attending a DRI seminar.

How many CLE credits can I earn at Annual Meeting?

DRI anticipates providing approximately 12.00 hours of continuing legal education (CLE) at the Annual Meeting, including one (1.00) hour of Ethics and one (1.00) hour of Attorney Wellness. More information will be finalized closer to the meeting. Click here to learn more about CLE.

What is the meeting attire?

Business casual attire is appropriate for all DRI functions, except casual attire is encouraged for the Thursday evening networking event. Watch for specific details for attire for the Closing Celebration.

What will the weather in Chicago be like?

In mid-October, Chicago typically experiences daytime highs around 63°F (17°C) and nighttime lows around 44°F (7°C). The weather can be quite variable, so it's a good idea to dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout the day.

Can I attend the meeting virtually?

No. DRI’s 2025 Annual Meeting will be exclusively in-person.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

  • Cancellations received thirty days or more before October 15 are entitled to a full refund.
  • Cancellations received between twenty-nine and eight days before October 15 may receive either a full refund less than $300 administrative fee or a credit totaling the equivalent of the registration fee less a $100 processing fee.
  • Cancellations received seven days or less before October 15 are non-refundable.
