About the Committee
The primary mission of the Judicial Task Force is simple and straightforward. It is to maintain the integrity, viability, and efficiency of the civil justice system. It will therefore study, publish, and make recommendations on critical judicial issues. These will include adequate funding of the judiciary, judicial independence from undue political interference from other branches of the government and the public, and judicial behavior that weakens the public confidence in the fairness and impartiality of the civil justice system.
