About the Committee
Members of DRI’s Construction Law Committee handle matters in all aspects of construction related law. Many committee members represent designers, engineers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, construction product manufacturers and suppliers in all areas of their business, such as contract drafting and negotiation, delay claims, OSHA investigations, and employment and workers’ compensation issues. Other committee members’ practices are more claim/insurance/litigation driven, and their focus is on worksite accident, construction defect, architect/engineer errors and omissions (E&O), insurance claims, litigation, and dispute resolution. Our annual seminars, focused webinars, and monthly Toolbox Talks touch on the wide variety of construction-related topics that our committee members need to know to stay on top of current issues relevant to our profession.
