As artificial intelligence use increases, federal and state governments have recognized the need for new legislation, recently proposing laws that outline future regulations and programs for technological advances. In addition, litigation involving artificial intelligence has begun finding its way to our courts. This session will address proposed federal legislation and recently passed state legislation regarding artificial intelligence, as well as pending litigation involving artificial intelligence.

New liability creates the need for protections. Those shields may be multifaceted. The panel will discuss relevant contractual provisions, indemnification, and insurance coverage for artificial intelligence issues.
