2022 DRI Annual Meeting: Submit Your Showcase Theater Ideas!

DRI is no longer accepting applications for the Showcase Theater.

All new this year, the DRI Annual Meeting will include a Showcase Theater in the Exhibit Hall where we will feature short presentations by some of our solution providers and members! Designed to be quick and impactful, the Showcase Theater will welcome attendees to short sessions (20 minutes maximum) on hot topics important to defense practitioners, insurance companies and clients alike.

To select the faculty for the Showcase Theater, we are doing an open call to our members for presentations. These quick sessions should be no more than 20 minutes in length, plus some Q&A, and may include a maximum of two presenters. CLE credit will not be sought or provided for these sessions. A projector and screen will be available for use by the selected presenters. Selected presenters will be required to be DRI members and register for the Annual Meeting. Selected presenters must also secure their own travel and hotel accommodations.

Preference will be given to presentations that are creative in format and/or cover hot topics applicable to the broadest scope of DRI’s membership. In addition, any presentation selected for the Showcase Theater that has a written manuscript, will be published in a forthcoming issue of either DRI’s For the Defense magazine, The Voice or The Brief Case, at DRI’s discretion.

PowerPoint presentations for the Showcase Theater and/or any accompanying manuscripts are due on or before October 12, 2022. PowerPoint presentations and manuscripts are not required, but are encouraged.

Selected presenters will be contacted by DRI no later than August 15 to allow ample time for preparation. Again, these sessions are designed to be no longer than 20 minutes in length and presentations should be proposed and prepared accordingly.
