2021 Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Virtual Seminar
Throughout the United States and the world, legislators are regularly updating data protection and privacy laws in an (arguably futile) attempt to keep up with changes in technology. The Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Committee’s first-ever virtual seminar will provide an overview of important data protection and privacy concepts and review data protection and privacy obligations imposed by state and global laws and regulations. Topics include: how to comply with the challenging and ever-changing data protection and privacy laws; the use of Artificial Intelligence for making decisions that may have discriminatory patterns embedded within them; and data protection and class action trends centering on the use of biometrics, the Internet of Things and other trends in technology that impact privacy. The virtual seminar will conclude with a networking event. If your membership recently lapsed, please renew your membership prior to registering to ensure you receive your discounted member rate.
