New Program Offers Administrative Services to Not-for-Profit Organizations

CHICAGO – (August 21, 2018) — DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar announced today that Tyler Howes has been named CEO of DRI Professional Services, Inc.  Mr. Howes is currently Deputy Executive Director of DRI and will retain both the title and responsibilities of that position.

Mr. Howes has been with DRI for fifteen years. Prior to coming to DRI, he served as Senior Director, Strategic Business Development for LexisNexis. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School.

DRI Professional Services, an association management company, provides the following services: administration, accounting services, education (online education development and hosting, seminar planning, and CLE filing), meeting and event management, marketing and communications, publishing, and technology and web services.

“In essence, this is what DRI has done and excelled at for over half a century,” says Howes. “Only instead of focusing our capabilities entirely on DRI, we are now offering our full range of services to other associations and law firms when needed. Due to ever-changing market demands, association management has become extremely complex and resource intensive. DRI Professional Services is designed to enhance client operations and generate future growth.”

“DRI Professional Services can help reduce costs, lower risk, improve efficiencies, meet tight deadlines, solve tough staging problems, and produce better outcomes,” says DRI Executive Director John R. Kouris. “Tyler, given his proven abilities in this area for over fifteen years, is the perfect person to lead it.”

DRI, founded more than 55 years ago, is noted for creating and managing highly effective and popular programs, projects, and events on behalf of attorneys of the civil defense bar. It currently stages more than thirty seminars a year in addition to on-demand webcasts, conferences and roundtables, and managing thirty substantive law committees and its Center for Law and Public Policy.
