Blessings in a Backpack Who Will Feed the Kids this Weekend?

DRI and Blessings in a Backpack Partnership

During the 2023 Annual Meeting, DRI announced its two-year partnership with Blessings in a Backpack, a national organization dedicated to ensuring that no child goes hungry on the weekends. Over the course of the two-year partnership, the DRI Foundation has committed to supporting 10 packing events a year, providing weekend meals to thousands of children in need. These events will be hosted during key DRI events, including the Annual Meeting and several seminars. DRI believes that, through this partnership, it can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children facing food insecurity and contribute positively to the communities we serve. Together with Blessings in a Backpack, DRI is committed to ensuring a brighter, more nourished future for America's youth.

2022 DRI Annual Meeting and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region

DRI Cares was proud to help Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of the Philadelphia Region during the DRI Annual Meeting in October. DRI Cares projects resulted in 2,200 kits being assembled to help families seeking help from RMHC. DRI Cares had events on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during receptions at Annual Meeting, which included making hygiene kits, fun kits, and spa kits for the families. Over 25 of DRI’s Substantive Law Committees helped put together fun kits for children ranging in age from ages 3–18. Plus, several members of DRI made cards for the organization to distribute as well.
