The presentation will take an in-depth look at the challenges defense lawyers face in Jury selection told through the experience of Attorney Ethen Shapiro’s defense of one of the country’s most highly publicized cases Kowalski v. Johns Hopkins, know to the public as the “Take Care of Maya” case. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) presents many challenges and ethical concerns for lawyers.
